Adding it to your home screen

You do not have to. The link works in the browser every time. But on a multi-day tour, an icon on your home screen saves hunting for the message.

iPhone

Open the link in Safari. Tap the Share button, the square with an arrow. Choose Add to Home Screen.

Android

Open the link in Chrome. Tap the three dots at the top right. Choose Add to Home screen or Install app.

What it remembers

The icon opens straight onto your tour. The PIN is remembered too.

The driver view as it opens from the icon If the guide changes the PIN or sends a new link, the old icon shows This driver session is no longer active. Delete it and add the new link.
