A year for the price of a season. Why it is priced that way.

One planner: you. Anyone you invite joins a single tour, not your account, so tour managers can edit the tours you invite them to and drivers can read them, all free. Everything below is included, with no feature held back.

per seat, billed on invoice

Several planners sharing one tour library. Your colleagues see every tour, open it, copy it, and build their own alongside. It is the same app with more of you in it. What a team account is.

THE YEAR

Priced for a season, not a calendar

Guiding is seasonal. Most of us have three or four months a year with hardly any work, and software that bills twelve full months charges you for the quiet ones too. So a year of G-3 Ops costs what a season costs.

€249.99 is eight and a third months of the €29.99 monthly price. The rest of the year costs nothing, and those are the months you are not on a coach anyway. Your tours, templates and archive stay where they are over the winter, ready for the first booking of spring.

Would rather not commit to a year? Pay monthly and cancel in November. Your tours are kept and stay readable, and you pick up in March where you left off. We only clear out accounts nobody has paid for or signed in to for two years, and we email first.

It is priced this way because it was built by a working guide, for other guides.

A TEAM

Extra people inside your account

That is the whole of it. A team account is the same app you already use, with your colleagues in it, working from one shared pool of tours instead of one account each.

Everyone sees the same tours

A colleague can open a tour, copy it as the basis for their own, and build alongside you, without being invited tour by tour.

Joining takes a code

You send a single-use invite code, they redeem it, and they are in. No IT ticket and no account provisioning on your side.

Leaving takes one action

Removing someone withdraws their access to the team’s tours in the same action, and frees the seat. Tours belong to the team, not to whoever happened to create them.

What it is not: there is no onboarding programme, no account manager, no single sign-on and no white labelling. It is a web app written by one person, and it is the same web app for everybody. A Data Processing Agreement is published in full and applies to every business customer, not just teams.

The questions people actually ask

Is VAT included?

Yes. €29.99 and €249.99 are what you pay, VAT included. The seller is Hell’s Highway in the Netherlands, VAT number NL001447641B53.

Is there a setup fee?

No. Some tools in this category charge four figures to get started. You sign up and import a tour.

Do drivers cost anything?

No, and they never will. Drivers open a link and enter a PIN, with no account to create. Charging for the people who only read the day would be a strange way to run this.

Is annual actually cheaper, or just longer?

Cheaper, and you can check it. €249.99 divided by €29.99 is 8.34, so a year costs what eight and a third months of monthly would. If a year of this ever works out more expensive than paying month by month, we have priced it wrong and you should tell us.

What happens when the trial ends?

Your tours are kept and nothing is locked away. They stay exactly as they are and stay readable, including by your drivers. You lose the ability to edit until you subscribe. An account nobody pays for or signs in to for two years may be deleted, and we email a month before that happens.

It works offline. So when does everyone else see my changes?

When your phone next has signal. Without it you keep reading and editing as normal, and every change is saved on the phone. The moment a connection comes back the changes are sent, and drivers and tour managers who are online see them within seconds. Someone who is offline themselves sees them when they reconnect. If two people change the same field while both are offline, the later change wins.

Do you take a percentage of my bookings?

No, and we could not if we wanted to. G-3 Ops is not a booking system and never sees a booking or a payment, so the price above is the whole price.

Can I get my data out?

Any tour exports to a spreadsheet whenever you like, without asking us. There is no export fee and no retention trick.

How do team accounts work?

A seat is a person on your team account. They share the team’s pool of tours: they can open a colleague’s tour, copy it, and plan their own. You take a seat for anyone who PLANS tours. A tour manager you invite to one specific tour is not a seat and costs nothing, and drivers are never seats. Seats are agreed with us and billed on invoice rather than bought by card, so tell us how many planners you have.

What support comes with a team account?

The same as everyone gets: the help pages, and email to support@g3ops.com, answered within two working days and usually sooner, by the person who wrote the software. There is no account manager and no phone number. If your organisation needs either, it is worth knowing before you buy rather than after.

Do you support single sign-on?

No, and it is not planned. Guides sign in with Google or an emailed sign-in link, tour managers with a personal link and a six-digit PIN. If your IT department requires SAML or SCIM, this is not the right tool for you and I would rather say so now.

Can we put our own branding on it?

No. Your drivers and tour managers will see this product’s name, not yours. For an internal operations tool that is usually fine, and if it is not, this is not the right tool for you.
