BATTLEFIELD TOURS
Built for the Market Garden corridor. Used on it.
A battlefield day is a chain of stops that each depend on the one before. When one of them runs long, everything after it moves. This is the tool I use to keep that chain in order on my own tours.
A battlefield day is a chain
A full day on the Market Garden corridor runs Arnhem, Nijmegen, Hell's Highway and the XXX Corps breakout. The Ardennes takes two days or more. Every stop is a conversation that does not want to be hurried, and every one of them sits between a drive and a booked time somewhere.
So the day slips. A museum keeps the group longer than planned, or a bridge turns out to need another ten minutes. Then the guide stands in a car park working out whether lunch still holds and what time everyone gets back. That arithmetic is the part of the job I got tired of. It is why G-3 Ops exists.

Where it was built
I am Joris Nieuwint. I have guided battlefield tours since 2012, and I am an accredited member (#112) of the International Guild of Battlefield Guides. My tours run under the name The Battlefield Explorer, where you can read about the tours, the reviews and the Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice awards from 2023 to 2026.
I built G-3 Ops for the tours I guide, because I needed it there, and I use it on my own single-day tours.
The Battlefield Explorer takes its bookings and payments through G-3 Booking. G-3 Ops is the other half of the same brand: it plans the tour day and re-times it.

What it does on a battlefield day
Change one time and the rest of the day re-times
Leave a stop twenty minutes late and every later arrival, departure and drive moves with it. You see whether lunch and the last stop still work before you commit.
Drive times come from the map
Give two stops a Plus Code and the drive between them is calculated, not remembered.
Booked times stay honest
A museum slot or a table at noon is a fixed point. Mark it as a target arrival and the day tells you whether you still make it.
It works with no signal
The Ardennes does not care about your coverage. You keep reading and editing offline, and the changes sync when the signal returns.
Your driver sees the same day
If your group comes with its own bus and driver, send them a link and a PIN. They get the next stop, the time and where to park. No account, no download.
Try a day in the Ardennes
This is the app’s own day view. Make the museum overrun and watch what happens to the booked times.

Who it is for
Guides and tour managers who run days with several stops: private tours for a family or a small group, military staff rides, coach groups with their own driver, and multi-day tours with more than one tour manager. My own groups run from one guest to forty or more. If your day has one stop, you do not need it. Why that is, and who should not buy this.
14 DAYS. NO CARD.
